Originally published in 1900, L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz  has been a cultural phenomenon for over a century. The Library of Congress has declared it "America's greatest and best-loved homegrown fairytale."

Help Find the Art

Most of the original artwork drawn to create the illustrations in T​he Wizard of Oz book series is missing.

The Lost Art of Oz hopes to find and bring this artwork to new light - inspiring future generations, and honoring the legacy of its creators in the process.
