The creativity and imagination of these artists have introduced generations of readers to the magic of Oz, and their contributions are often overlooked. People of all ages and backgrounds can be inspired by these wonderful illustrations and enriched by learning about children’s literature as an art form.
The Lost Art of Oz achieves its mission through the study, collection, and exhibition of artwork and historic materials related to The Wizard of Oz, community outreach programs for all ages and backgrounds, and scholarships dedicated to supporting the art of storytelling.
